Student application period

The Autumn Queue for student accommodation opens on 28 April. All applicants who apply during the 24 hours of 28 April (Swedish time, CEST) will receive a randomized queue time. This is to give all applicants equal opportunities, regardless of time-zone or technical difficulties.

The Spring queue closed earlier this week, and any applicants who were in that queue have now been removed from the queue, and lost any accrued queue points. They are still welcome to apply to the Autumn queue according to the above.

Programme Students who pay tuition fees and Exchange Students can already now register their account, and log in to the housing account in preparation for the opening of the queue by following the instructions below.

How to apply

Please note that Programme Students who do not pay tuition fees (e.g. from within EU/EEA) are not eligible to apply.

Student applicants from special agreements who have not applied through Solemove will have their accounts created next week, and will receive an e-mail to create a password and log in before the start of the application period. If you are unsure which group you belong to, pleas read our guide on who can apply:

Other housing providers

We strongly recommend all applicants to apply for housing through as many services as possible to maximise their chances.

The largest student housing provider in Lund is AF Bostäder, and their application for novisch (newly admitted) students opens 10-12 July:

Bopoolen is a service provided by the Lund University Student Unions (LUS), to provide a safe and secure place to publish and respond to housing ads from private citizens, but also to provide assistance on how to avoid fraud and links to all major housing providers in the form of a checklist for housing.
