How to pick up your keys

On this page you will find all necessary information on what is required when picking up your keys, where keys can be collected and links to more information about keys.

What to bring

To collect your keys you need to bring a photographic identification documents, such as a passport or a national ID-card.

Where to pick up

Keys are normally picked up at our reception at Tunavägen 20, but if you are arriving during the Arrival Day, keys are collected at the Arrival Day venue.

Many incoming students arrive in Lund on one of the Arrival Days, organised before the beginning of each semester in August and January. On the Arrival Day, keys can only be picked up at the Arrival Day venue:

How to arrive at our reception

By taxi: A taxi within Lund should (daytime) never cost more than SEK 100. We recommend you to always ask for the price before accepting the taxi. Do not let the taxi wait outside our office while you collect your keys. Plenty of information will be given to you by us and the visit will most likely take more than 10 minutes.

If you are a tenant and will not be able to pick up your keys during office hours, there is an option to collect the keys outside of office hours in a key collection box.

If you choose to pick up your keys from the key collection boxes you are also required to visit our reception during visiting hours, to collect your area information and to sign documents showing a valid ID card.

Where do my keys go and how do I use them?

You will receive a keychain with a keyfinder badge and at least one key. These will lead to your main accommodation, entrance to the building, as well as access to laundry rooms and letterboxes where applicable. To find out more about your keys, please read more here:
